English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he said: 'I heard Ibn 'Umar say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the dhabb [large desert lizard] and said: "I will not eat it and I will not forbid it."'
