English Translation

It was narrated — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he said: 'I was with Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) along with another man. He then called a third man over, and said: "Move aside — for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade two men from conversing privately to the exclusion of one."'
