حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَبِيبٌ يَعْنِي الْمُعَلِّمَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْتَمِرُ فِي رَجَبٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَأَخْبَرَ بِذَلِكَ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُمْرَةً إِلَّا وَهُوَ مَعَهُ وَمَا اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَجَبٍ قَطُّ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from Aban al-'Attar, from Habib al-Mu'allim, from 'Ata', from 'Urwa ibn al-Zubayr — that he asked Ibn 'Umar: 'Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform 'umra in Rajab?' He said: 'Yes.' ['Urwa] then informed 'A'isha of this. She said: 'May Allah have mercy on Abu 'Abd al-Rahman — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never performed an 'umra except that he ['Abdullah ibn 'Umar] was with him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never performed 'umra in Rajab at all.'
