‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏شُعْبَةُ ‏ ‏سَمِعْتُ ‏ ‏صَدَقَةَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ ‏ ‏سَمِعْتُ ‏ ‏ابْنَ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏يُحَدِّثُ ‏ ‏عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ ‏ ‏وَقَّتَ ‏ ‏لِأَهْلِ ‏ ‏الْمَدِينَةِ ‏ ‏ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ‏ ‏وَلِأَهْلِ ‏ ‏الشَّأْمِ ‏ ‏الْجُحْفَةَ ‏ ‏وَلِأَهْلِ ‏ ‏نَجْدٍ ‏ ‏قَرْنًا ‏ ‏وَلِأَهْلِ ‏ ‏الْعِرَاقِ ‏ ‏ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ ‏ ‏وَلِأَهْلِ ‏ ‏الْيَمَنِ ‏ ‏يَلَمْلَمَ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Shu'ba, from Sadaqa ibn Yasar — that he heard Ibn 'Umar narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he designated the miqat: for the people of Medina — Dhu al-Hulayfa; for the people of Syria — al-Juhfa; for the people of Najd — Qarn; for the people of Iraq — Dhat 'Irq; and for the people of Yemen — Yalamlam.
