حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ سَمِعْتُ صَدَقَةَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّأْمِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Shu'ba, from Sadaqa ibn Yasar — that he heard Ibn 'Umar narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he designated the miqat: for the people of Medina — Dhu al-Hulayfa; for the people of Syria — al-Juhfa; for the people of Najd — Qarn; for the people of Iraq — Dhat 'Irq; and for the people of Yemen — Yalamlam.
