Chain of Narration (Isnad)

‏ ‏قَالَ ‏ ‏قَرَأْتُ عَلَى ‏ ‏عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏: ‏ ‏مَالِكٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏

قَالَ ‏ ‏إِنَّ ‏ ‏بِلَالًا ‏ ‏يُنَادِي بِلَيْلٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُنَادِيَ ‏ ‏ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via reading to 'Abd al-Rahman: from Malik, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Bilal calls the adhan at night, so eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum calls [the adhan for Fajr].'
