English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Husayn ibn Muhammad, from Isra'il, from Thuwayr — traced back to the Prophet ﷺ — that he said: 'The lowest-ranking person in Paradise is one who looks upon his gardens, his comfort, his servants, and his couches from a distance of a thousand years' journey. And the most honored of them before Allah is one who looks upon His face morning and evening.' Then he recited the verse: 'Faces on that Day will be radiant, looking at their Lord.' [75:22-23]
