English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Wahhab, from Ayyub, from Nafi' — that he said: 'A man called out to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked: "What creatures may we kill when in ihram?" He said: "Five — there is no sin upon the one who kills them: the kite [bird of prey], the crow, the rat, the vicious dog, and the scorpion."'
