Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Umar narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the people one day, and I came when he had already finished. I asked: "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say?" They said: "He prohibited al-dubba' [gourds] and al-hantam [green glazed jars] and al-naqir [hollowed tree trunks] and al-muzaffat [pitch-coated vessels]."'
