حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً حَيْوَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ تَصَدَّقْنَ وَأَكْثِرْنَ فَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُكُنَّ أَكْ
ثَرَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ لِكَثْرَةِ اللَّعْنِ وَكُفْرِ الْعَشِيرِ مَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ نَاقِصَاتِ عَقْلٍ وَدِينٍ أَغْلَبَ لِذِي لُبٍّ مِنْكُنَّ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا نُقْصَانُ الْعَقْلِ وَالدِّينِ قَالَ أَمَّا نُقْصَانُ الْعَقْلِ وَالدِّينِ فَشَهَادَةُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ تَعْدِلُ شَهَادَةَ رَجُلٍ فَهَذَا نُقْصَانُ الْعَقْلِ وَتَمْكُثُ اللَّيَالِيَ لَا تُصَلِّي وَتُفْطِرُ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَهَذَا نُقْصَانُ الدِّينِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Harun ibn Ma'ruf, from Ibn Wahb [and on another occasion: from Haywa], from Ibn al-Had, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O gathering of women, give charity, and give abundantly — for I have seen that you are the majority of the people of Hell, due to your frequent cursing [of others] and your ingratitude toward your husbands. I have not seen any who are deficient in mind and religion more prevailing over a man of sound intellect than you.' A woman said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the deficiency of mind and religion?' He said: 'As for the deficiency of mind — the testimony of two women equals the testimony of one man. And as for the deficiency of religion — she passes nights without praying [due to menstruation] and breaks her fast in Ramadan [due to menstruation].'
