حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ عَنْ نَافِع

ٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ فَلَهُ ذِمَّةُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تُخْفِرُوا اللَّهَ ذِمَّتَهُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ أَخْفَرَ ذِمَّتَهُ طَلَبَهُ اللَّهُ حَتَّى يُكِبَّهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Musa ibn Dawud, from Ibn Lahi'a, from Khalid ibn Abi 'Imran, from Nafi' — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever prays Fajr prayer is under the protection [dhimma] of Allah — so do not violate Allah's protection. For whoever violates His protection, Allah will pursue him until He overturns him on his face.'
