حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي الصِّ
دِّيقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ هَمَّامٌ فِي كِتَابِي قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا وَضَعْتُمْ مَوْتَاكُمْ فِي الْقَبْرِ فَقُولُوا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from Hammam, from Qatada, from Abu al-Siddiq — [Hammam said: in my copy it states] that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When you lay your deceased in the grave, say: "Bismillah wa 'ala sunnati rasulillah (ﷺ) [In the name of Allah, and upon the Sunna of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ]."'
