‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنِي ‏ ‏نَافِعٌ ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَهُ ‏ ‏أَنَّ امْرَأَةً وُجِدَتْ فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِي النَّبِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏مَقْتُولَةً ‏ ‏فَأَنْكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏قَتْلَ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ali ibn 'Ayyash, from al-Layth ibn Sa'd, from Nafi' — that a woman was found killed on one of the expeditions of the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ condemned the killing of women and children.
