حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ إِنَّ مُ
هَلَّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذُو الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَمُهَلَّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مَهْيَعَةُ وَهِيَ الْجُحْفَةُ وَمُهَلَّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنٌ قَالَ سَالِمٌ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ya'qub, from the nephew of Ibn Shihab, from his uncle Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah — that 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said: 'The miqat [for entering ihram] for the people of Medina is Dhul Hulayfa, and the miqat for the people of Syria is Mahya'a — which is al-Juhfa, and the miqat for the people of Najd is Qarn.' Salim said: 'I heard 'Abdullah say: "I heard these words from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."'
