English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu al-Mughira, from 'Umar ibn 'Amr Abu 'Uthman al-Ahmusi, from al-Mukhariq ibn Abi al-Mukhariq — that he heard him say: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "My watering basin [hawd] is [the distance] between Aden and Oman — colder than snow, sweeter than honey, and more fragrant than musk. Its cups are like the stars of the sky. Whoever drinks from it one sip will never be thirsty after it. The first people to arrive at it will be the poor Muhajirun." Someone said: "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Those with disheveled hair, grimy faces, and dirty garments — the gates [of the wealthy] are not opened for them and they do not marry women of luxury — those who give all that is obligated of them and do not take what is theirs."'
