َّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ أَلَا وَإِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ يَعْنِي الْمَشْرِقَ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hajjaj, from Layth, from 'Uqayl, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood to give a sermon and said: 'Lo! The sedition [al-fitna] is here — from the direction of the rising of the horn of Shaytan' — meaning the east.
