‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏نَافِعٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُصَلِّي ‏ ‏يَعْنِي يَقْرَأُ السَّجْدَةَ ‏ ‏فِي غَيْرِ صَلَاةٍ فَيَسْجُدُ وَنَسْجُدُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى رُبَّمَا لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُنَا مَكَانًا يَسْجُدُ فِيهِ ‏

English Translation

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite a surah containing a prostration outside of prayer, and he would prostrate and we would prostrate with him, until some of us could not find a place to put his forehead.
