حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَس
ُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا سَاقِطًا يَدَهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ لَا تَجْلِسْ هَكَذَا إِنَّمَا هَذِهِ جِلْسَةُ الَّذِينَ يُعَذَّبُونَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, from Hisham ibn Sa'd, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man letting his hand hang limp during prayer and said: 'Do not sit like that — that is the sitting position of those who are being punished.'
