English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hashim, from Layth, from Nafi' — from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'When two men make a transaction, each of them has the option [to rescind it] as long as they have not parted — while they are still together. Or if one gives the other the option and they transact on that basis, the transaction is binding. And if they part after completing the transaction and neither of them withdraws from it, the transaction is binding.'
