حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ عَنْ

أَبِي حَرْبٍ الدِّيلِيِّ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَظَلَّتْ الْخَضْرَاءُ وَلَا أَقَلَّتْ الْغَبْرَاءُ مِنْ رَجُلٍ أَصْدَقَ لَهْجَةً مِنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya ibn Hammad, from Abu 'Awana, from al-A'mash, from 'Uthman, from Abu Harb al-Dili — that he heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr say: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The sky has not shaded nor has the earth carried a man more truthful than Abu Dharr — he walks upon the earth in the manner of Jesus son of Mary (عليه السلام)."'
