English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Samad, from Hammad, from 'Ata', from his father — that a man, when entering into prayer one day, said: 'Alhamdulillah mil' al-sama' [Praise be to Allah filling the heavens]' — then glorified and supplicated. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Who said that?' The man said: 'I did, O Messenger of Allah.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Thirty angels have raced one another to record it first.'
