Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ رَيْحَانَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْعَامِرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص
َلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ وَلَا لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَوِيٍّ و قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ سَعْدٌ وَلَا ابْنُهُ يَعْنِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki' and 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Rayhan ibn Yazid al-'Amiri — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Sadaqah [obligatory zakah] is not lawful for a wealthy person, nor for one who is physically able-bodied and sound.' 'Abd al-Rahman [ibn Mahdi] said: 'Sa'd [ibn Ibrahim] and his son Ibrahim ibn Sa'd did not attribute it [directly] to the Prophet ﷺ.'
