English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from 'Asim, from Zirr — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'It will be said to the person of the Quran [on the Day of Resurrection]: "Recite and ascend [in rank] — and recite slowly and melodiously as you used to recite in this world — for your rank is at the last verse you recite."'
