English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Malik ibn Anas, from al-Zuhri, from 'Isa ibn Talha — that a man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I was unaware [of the order] — I slaughtered before throwing [the jamarat].' He said: 'Throw and there is no harm.' Another said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I shaved [my head] before slaughtering.' He said: 'Slaughter and there is no harm.' That day, he was not asked about anything done before or after [its proper order] except that he said: 'Do it — there is no harm.'
