حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي ثُمَامَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ
اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تُوضَعُ الرَّحِمُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَهَا حُجْنَةٌ كَحُجْنَةِ الْمِغْزَلِ تَتَكَلَّمُ بِأَلْسِنَةٍ طُلْقٍ ذُلْقٍ فَتَصِلُ مَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَتَقْطَعُ مَنْ قَطَعَهَا

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via Rawh, from Hammad ibn Salama, from Qatada, from Abu Thumama al-Thaqafi — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'The [ties of] kinship [al-rahim] will be set up on the Day of Resurrection with a hooked clasp like the clasp of a spindle, speaking with a fluent and eloquent tongue. It will connect [intercede for] whoever kept it connected, and cut off [from mercy] whoever severed it.'
