English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu al-Jawab, from 'Ammar ibn Ruzayq, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sa'd — who said: 'I came to 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr and said: "Narrate to me what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — and do not narrate to me from the Torah and the Gospel." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the muhajir [true emigrant] is one who abandons what Allah has forbidden.'"'
