English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from Abu 'Awana, from Abu Bishr, from Yusuf ibn Mahak — who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell behind during a journey we undertook. He caught up with us when the 'Asr prayer had come upon us urgently and we were performing wudu — we had been wiping over our feet [instead of washing them]. He called out at the top of his voice: "Woe to the heels from the Fire!" — twice or three times.'
