حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّ
هِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ أَكْبَرَ الْكَبَائِرِ عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ قَالَ قِيلَ وَمَا عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ قَالَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ وَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from Hammad ibn Salama, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Humayd ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Among the gravest of the grave sins is disobedience to parents [uquq al-walidayn].' It was said: 'What is uquq al-walidayn?' He said: 'A man reviles another man, so [that man] reviles his father; and [the first man] reviles another man's mother, so [that man] reviles his mother.'
