English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Ahmad, from Yunus ibn al-Harith, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed qiran [combining Hajj and 'Umrah in one ihram] out of fear of being turned away from the House. He said: 'If Hajj is not possible, then 'Umrah [will suffice].'
