English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hammad ibn Khalid, from Hisham ibn Sa'd, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a man who enters an orchard [ha'it]. He said: 'He may eat from it without taking anything [out] in his garment [i.e., he may eat on the spot but not take produce away].'
