ثُمَّ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ابْتِدَاءً مِنْ نَفْسِهِ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنَا عَنْ ثِيَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ خَلْقًا تُخْلَقُ أَمْ نَسْجًا تُنْسَجُ فَضَحِكَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّ
هُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّ تَضْحَكُونَ مِنْ جَاهِلٍ يَسْأَلُ عَالِمًا ثُمَّ أَكَبَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ قَالَ هُوَ ذَا أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا بَلْ تَشَقَّقُ عَنْهَا ثَمَرُ الْجَنَّةِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ
English Translation
Then 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr volunteered on his own: 'A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell us about the garments of the people of Paradise — are they created directly or woven?" Some people laughed. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What are you laughing at? [Just because] an ignorant person asks a knowledgeable one?" Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ leaned forward [in thought], then said: "Where is the questioner?" He said: "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "No — rather, they will burst forth from the fruits of Paradise" — [saying it] three times.'
