English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hashim and Husayn, from Muhammad ibn Rashid, from Sulayman ibn Musa, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rejected the testimony of the treacherous man and treacherous woman, and the testimony of one who bears a grudge [dhul-ghimr] against his brother [in such matters], and rejected the testimony of a dependant beneficiary [al-qani'] for the members of the household on whose favour he depends — but accepted it against others outside that household.
