English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'There is no fara'a [pre-Islamic custom of sacrificing the firstborn animal] and no 'atira [pre-Islamic Rajab sacrifice] in Islam.'
