English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid ibn Harun, from Ibn 'Awn, from Muhammad [ibn Sirin] — from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'Indeed in Friday there is an hour.' Ibn 'Awn demonstrated [how brief it is] by showing [a small span] with his right palm. We said [to each other]: 'He is indicating how small it is.' [The hadith continues:] 'No Muslim man who is standing in prayer, asking Allah for good, coincides with it — except that He gives it to him.'
