English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn al-Musayyab — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever eats from this tree — meaning garlic — let him not trouble us in our mosque.' And in another place [he said]: 'Let him not approach our mosque, nor trouble us with the smell of garlic.'
