حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ
أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمْ الشَّيْطَانُ وَهُوَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَيَلْبِسُ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى لَا يَدْرِيَ كَمْ صَلَّى فَإِذَا وَجَدَ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr → Ibn Jurayj → Ibn Shihab → Abu Salama ibn 'Abd al-Rahman — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Satan comes to one of you while he is in prayer and confuses him until he does not know how many [rak'as] he has prayed. When one of you experiences that, let him perform two prostrations while he is sitting.'
