English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab and Abu Salama — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Al-'ajma' [an animal that causes injury while roaming] — its damage is uncompensated [jubar]; a well [that someone falls into] — uncompensated; a mine [where someone is killed] — uncompensated. And in rikaz [buried pre-Islamic treasure] is one-fifth [due to the state]. Al-jubar means [the damage is] shed — unavenged.'
