حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ اجْتَمَعَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَكَعْبٌ فَجَعَلَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَد
ِّثُ كَعْبًا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَعْبٌ يُحَدِّثُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ الْكُتُبِ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, who said: al-Qasim ibn Muhammad informed me — that Abu Hurayra and Ka'b [al-Ahbar] once sat together. Abu Hurayra began narrating to Ka'b from the Prophet ﷺ, and Ka'b narrated to Abu Hurayra from the [earlier] scriptures. Abu Hurayra said: 'the Prophet ﷺ said: "Every prophet has a supplication that is answered. And I have reserved my supplication as intercession for my community on the Day of Resurrection."'
