حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ لَأَطُوفَنَّ اللَّيْلَةَ بِمِائَةِ امْرَأَةٍ تَلِدُ كُلُّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ غُلَامًا يُقَاتِلُ فِي س
َبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَنَسِيَ أَنْ يَقُولَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ فَأَطَافَ بِهِنَّ قَالَ فَلَمْ تَلِدْ مِنْهُنَّ إِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ نِصْفَ إِنْسَانٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ قَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَمْ يَحْنَثْ وَكَانَ دَرَكًا لِحَاجَتِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Ibn Tawus, from his father [Tawus] — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Sulayman ibn Dawud (عليه السلام) said: "Tonight I will go to one hundred women — and each of them will give birth to a boy who fights in the path of Allah." He forgot to say: "If Allah wills." So he went to them all — and only one of them gave birth, and she gave birth to half a human being. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Had he said 'if Allah wills,' he would not have broken his oath — and it would have been the fulfillment of his need."'
