Hadith #73

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ
عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَرْفَعُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ وَيُكَفِّرُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ فِي الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Ibn Abi 'Adiyy, from Shu'ba, from al-'Ala', from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Shall I not guide you to what Allah raises degrees by and expiates sins through? Performing thorough wudu in adverse conditions [al-makarih], many steps [made] to the mosques, and waiting for prayer after prayer [intizar al-salat ba'da al-salat].'
