حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بُوذَوَيْهِ أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ وَهْبًا يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْنِي هَمَّامًا كَذَا قَالَ أَبِي قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُ الَّتِي بَعْدَهَا وَلَا تَزَالُ ال
ْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ حَضْرَمَوْتَ وَمَا ذَلِكَ الْحَدَثُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنْ الْحَقِّ إِنْ فَسَا أَوْ ضَرَطَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Ibrahim ibn Khalid, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Budhawayh, from one who heard Wahb say that Hammam informed him — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "One of you remains in a state of prayer as long as he is waiting for the next prayer, and the angels continue to pray for one of you as long as he is in his mosque, saying: 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him' — so long as he does not break his wudu." A man from Hadramawt asked: "What is that breaking of wudu, O Abu Hurayra?" He said: "Allah is not shy of the truth — passing gas silently or audibly."
