حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَب
ِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو إِنْ طَالَ بِي عُمُرٌ أَنْ أَلْقَى عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَإِنْ عَجِلَ بِي مَوْتٌ فَمَنْ لَقِيَهُ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيُقْرِئْهُ مِنِّي السَّلَامَ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Indeed I hope, if I live long enough, to meet 'Isa ibn Maryam عليه السلام. If death comes to me sooner, then whoever meets him, let him convey my salam to him.'
