حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص
َلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الصَّلَاةِ أَفْضَلُ بَعْدَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ قِيلَ أَيُّ الصِّيَامِ أَفْضَلُ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الَّذِي تَدْعُونَهُ الْمُحَرَّمَ

English Translation
Abd al-Rahman and Abu Sa'id narrated to us, they said: Za'idah narrated to us, Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Muntashir, from Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever spends two things in the cause of Allah will be called from the gates of Paradise. Whoever was of the people of prayer will be called from the gate of prayer, whoever was of the people of jihad will be called from the gate of jihad, whoever was of the people of charity will be called from the gate of charity, whoever was of the people of fasting will be called from the gate of al-Rayyan.'
