حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِ
هِ وَهُمْ يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِي هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ الَّتِي اجْتُثَّتْ مِنْ فَوْقِ الْأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِنْ قَرَارٍ فَقَالُوا نَحْسَبُهَا الْكَمْأَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْكَمْأَةُ مِنْ الْمَنِّ وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ وَهِيَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ السُّمِّ

English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Ja'far ibn Abi Wahshiyyah narrated to us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to his Companions while they were debating about al-Qadr (divine decree). He became angry until his face turned red, as if pomegranate seeds had been squeezed on his cheeks. He said: 'Is this what you were commanded to do? Is this what I was sent to you with? Those who came before you were destroyed when they debated about this matter. I urge you, I urge you not to debate about it.'
