حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سَمَّى الْحَرْبَ خَدْعَةً
English Translation
Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Ibn Mubarak narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from Hammam ibn Munabbih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Every child is born upon the fitrah (natural disposition). Then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian, just as an animal produces a whole offspring — do you find any mutilated among them?'
