حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ
سَلَّمَ يَوْمًا فَسَمِعْنَا وَجْبَةً فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَدْرُونَ مَا هَذَا قُلْنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ هَذَا حَجَرٌ أُرْسِلَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مُنْذُ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا فَالْآنَ انْتَهَى إِلَى قَعْرِهَا

English Translation
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that khalaf, meaning Ibn Khalifah, narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Kaysan, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Abu Bakr and 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) were among a group. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up and left us, and he was delayed. We feared he had been attacked while alone, so we were alarmed. I was the first to be alarmed. I went looking for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until I came to a garden of the Ansar. He ﷺ said: 'Go and give glad tidings of Paradise to whoever you meet behind this wall who testifies that there is no god but Allah, with certainty in his heart.'
