Affan narrated to us, he said Hammad narrated to us, he said Ammar ibn Abi Ammar informed us, he said I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Among the things that reach a believer from his deeds and good works after death are: knowledge he taught and spread, a righteous child he left behind, a mushaf (copy of the Quran) he bequeathed, a mosque he built, a house he built for the wayfarer, a river he caused to flow, and charity he gave from his wealth in his health and lifetime — it reaches him after his death.'
