Hadith #428
Arabic Text
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسَتَيْنِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ بِثَوْبِهِ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ وَعَنْ الْمُلَامَسَةِ وَالْمُنَابَذَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ
English Translation
And with the same chain of narration, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited two ways of wearing garments: al-samma' (wrapping oneself completely in a single garment leaving no opening for the hands) and that a man sits wrapped in his garment with nothing covering his private parts. And he prohibited al-mulamasah (touch-sale), al-munabadhah (throw-sale), al-muhaqalah (selling unharvested grain for harvested grain), and al-muzabanah (selling fresh dates on the tree for dried dates).
