وَبِالْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَوْ قَالَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا أَدَعُ يَوْمَ أَمُوتُ دِينَارًا إِلَّا أَنْ أُرْصِدَهُ لِدَيْنٍ
English Translation
With the same chain of narration, he said: "I would not love to have the equivalent of Uhud in gold" — Shu'bah said: or he said: "I would not love to have Uhud in gold" — "only to leave behind a single dinar on the day I die, except what I set aside for a debt."
