‏ ‏وَبِالْإِسْنَادِ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ ‏مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي مِثْلَ ‏ ‏أُحُدٍ ‏ ‏ذَهَبًا ‏ ‏قَالَ ‏ ‏شُعْبَةُ ‏ ‏أَوْ قَالَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي ‏ ‏أُحُدًا ‏ ‏ذَهَبًا ‏ ‏أَدَعُ ‏ ‏يَوْمَ أَمُوتُ دِينَارًا إِلَّا أَنْ ‏ ‏أُرْصِدَهُ ‏ ‏لِدَيْنٍ ‏

English Translation

With the same chain of narration, he said: "I would not love to have the equivalent of Uhud in gold" — Shu'bah said: or he said: "I would not love to have Uhud in gold" — "only to leave behind a single dinar on the day I die, except what I set aside for a debt."
