حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ النَّخَعِيَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ

أَبَا زُرْعَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي وَلَا تَكَنَّوْا بِكُنْيَتِي

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn Yazid al-Nakha'i say: I heard Abu Zur'ah narrating from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Name yourselves with my name, but do not use my kunya (agnomen, Abu al-Qasim)."
