English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the sale by munabadhah and mulamasah. Munabadhah is when a man throws his garment at another and the other throws his garment [completing the sale without inspection]. Mulamasah is when he touches it [the merchandise] without looking at it — whatever he touches becomes the sale.
